    Dr. Adam L. Ford, a highly seasoned professional boasting a remarkable 16-year career in local law enforcement, and as a contractor to federal government. Dr. Ford is widely recognized for his exceptional expertise, having conducted numerous CVSA (Computer Voice Stress Analyzer) and Personal History interviews throughout his illustrious journey.

    In his role as a certified NITV Federal Services CVSA Examiner, Dr. Ford not only brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the field of truth verification but also specializes in Pre-Employment exams. His unwavering commitment to the pursuit of truth and justice has established him as a trusted authority in law enforcement and pre-employment investigative processes.

    Beyond his proficiency in CVSA examinations, Dr. Ford has decades of experience in personality assessment and organizational development. His acute insight into human behavior, combined with a dedicated and thorough approach, positions him as a valuable resource for comprehending and optimizing both individual and group dynamics.

    Dr. Ford's dedication to excellence permeates every facet of his work. Whether immersed in the nuances of personality assessments or contributing to organizational development strategies, he approaches each task with meticulous attention and thoroughness.     Dr. Ford holds a doctorate in Clinical Christian counseling from Cornerstone University, Additionally, he is a graduate of the Ashworth College Private Investigator Program and has successfully completed the University of North Florida’s Institute of Police Technology and Management Pre-Employment Background Investigations and Internal Affairs Investigations programs. His educational background further underscores his commitment to staying at the forefront of advancements in his field.

    During his leisure hours, Dr. Ford finds himself giving back to his community, exploring new destinations, relishing sandy beaches, and immersing himself in the serenity of waterside retreats.

  • Co-Owner Senior Background Investigator

    Trustonics, home to seasoned law enforcement professional Drew Oesterle, is a leading force in comprehensive background investigations. Drew's distinguished career spans over a decade, featuring a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Justice Administration from Hawaii Pacific University and a Master of Arts in Criminal Justice with a Digital Forensics emphasis from De Sales University in Pennsylvania.

    Drew's journey commenced as a private investigator during his graduate studies, marking the onset of his investigative prowess. Joining the Colorado State Patrol as a State Trooper in 2012, he laid the groundwork for a dynamic law enforcement career. His commitment and skill propelled him to the United States Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) in 2014, where he excelled as a Diversion Investigator, handling criminal, civil, and administrative investigations.

    In 2019, Drew transitioned to United States Department of Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), assuming the role of a Criminal Investigator. His invaluable federal experience positions Trustonics as a leader in precision and efficiency in background investigations.

    In 2020, Drew shifted his focus to local law enforcement, joining the Glenwood Springs Police Department as a patrol officer. This transition underscores his dedication to community safety and hands-on law enforcement.

    Beyond operational roles, Drew has contributed to the academic sector as an Adjunct Professor at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, Colorado, and as an instructor at various law enforcement academies in the state. This dual experience brings a unique perspective to Trustonics, emphasizing a commitment to knowledge dissemination and skill enhancement.

    Beyond the badge, Drew is a passionate outdoor enthusiast and certified white-water raft guide, showcasing his dedication to teamwork, leadership, and adaptability – qualities seamlessly integrated into Trustonics' ethos.

    As a valued member of the Trustonics team, Drew Oesterle brings a wealth of law enforcement experience, contributing to the company's position as a trusted partner for unparalleled background investigation services, rooted in a decade of excellence and a commitment to community well-being.

  • Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Jordan is a board-certified psychologist who specializes in Police and Public Safety Psychology. He practices throughout Colorado and the metro Denver area providing testing and assessment work for police departments, sheriff’s offices, fire departments and a wide range of private entities.

    Dr. Jordan’s primary area of expertise is pre-employment testing for public safety applicants and Fitness for Duty assessments both for public safety and other organizations.

    He earned his bachelor’s degree from Augustana College and a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Bradley University. He completed his doctoral work in Industrial & Organizational Psychology at the University of Nebraska. Dr. Jordan’s work history includes several years in human resource management and several years working as a consulting psychologist. Dr. Jordan entered into private practice in 1997.

    Dr. Jordan has taught courses in the Business College at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and at Arapahoe Community College. Additional work activities include research in assessment, consulting and critical stress debriefing.

  • Physician

    Dr. Aguirre is an energetic and passionate individual who feels wellness is based on the principles of unity of the human body. The body’s ability to regulate and literally heal itself, the interrelationship of structure and function, and the use of manipulative treatment in the total care of the patient are the "backbone" of his philosophy.

    He received his BS in Exercise Physiology from the University of Utah in 2004, graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine for Medical school in 2009, Board Certified in Family Medicine since 2012. He speaks Spanish fluently.

    He sees himself as a guide and coach when it comes to his role as a physician. He desires to help support one's healthcare decisions and find meaningful connections with his patients on a physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual level. He believes the best way to treat disease is with prevention. Dr. Aguirre is excited at this refined access to innovative care which allows him the freedom to treat the patient with less barriers and aligns well with his own philosophies of wellness.

    Outside of medicine, Dr. Aguirre enjoys everything involving family time, winter sports, fishing, hiking, camping, trail running, or anything outdoors. He is an avid baseball fan. He is excited to continue to bring his enthusiasm for life and medicine to patients here in Glenwood Springs.

  • Chief Medical Review Officer

    Dr. Janelle A. Jaworski has been a dedicated and full-time practicing Medical Review Officer (MRO) for over two decades. She launched her MRO career at Substance Abuse Management, Inc. (SAMI), one of the pioneering medical review organizations. She then served at First Advantage before joining the i3screen team in 2010.

    Dr. Jaworski is renowned for her expertise in document examination, honed over years of detecting countless instances of falsified records, letters, and prescription documents. Her meticulous work has ensured that donors providing additional information are accurately assessed in their drug tests. She has established a unique review protocol within our team, setting industry standards and ensuring superior medical reviews and accurate results for our clients.

    Before her MRO career, Dr. Jaworski specialized in forensic pathology. She completed a five-year combined anatomic and clinical pathology residency, followed by a one-year fellowship at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine in Albuquerque. She holds certifications from both the American Association of Medical Review Officers (AAMRO) and the Medical Review Officer Certification Council (MROCC).

    As an MRO, Dr. Jaworski operates in a multidisciplinary environment, requiring extensive knowledge and skills in various subject areas related to drug and alcohol testing. These areas, as defined for the MROCC certification examination, include Substance Use Disorders, Regulatory Issues and MRO Role, Toxicology, Pharmacology and Laboratory Issues, Clinical Aspects, and Collections and Procedures.

  • HUMAN RESOURCES

    Elaine is the President of Precision Employment and is a resource to municipalities and businesses by providing them with outsourced Human Resources support. Elaine is well versed in all functions of HR including employee relations, policy development, performance management, benefit administration, and legal compliance. She received her Title VII/IX Workplace Investigator Certification, through T9 Mastered, which certifies her to complete workplace investigations and combat legal liability in civil court. She holds the Professional Human Resources (PHR) Certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI) and is a certified Paralegal through the Colorado State University. She also has a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, with minors in Public Relations and Marketing, from the Metropolitan State University. Elaine has presented on multiple HR topics including policy compliance, HR best practices, benefit administration, multi-generational workforce planning, and management training. Elaine is endorsed as an expert witness in the employment law/HR field and has experience drafting reports and providing testimony in federal and state court, on behalf of employers. Elaine is on the Board of Directors for It’s A Calling Foundation and volunteers with numerous agencies throughout the state, including Habitat for Humanity, Big Brothers Big Sisters, and Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve. In her spare time, Elaine enjoys traveling, cooking, paddleboarding, and spending time outdoors.

  • Clinical Psychologist

    Dr. Smith is a licensed clinical psychologist with a PhD in clinical psychology from Fuller Graduate School of Psychology, and a Masters of Christian Leadership from Fuller Theological Seminary. She has worked in numerous settings, including the VA, university counseling centers, community mental health, and private practice.

    She particularly enjoys bringing the balance of professionalism, efficiency, and warmth to a psychological setting, and believes at our practice you will feel that, from your first step in the door through the entirety of the appointment and follow up. Taking that first step is often difficult or delayed, and Dr. Smith finds joy and purpose in making the process comfortable, and making each person feel heard and valued.

    Dr. Smith specializes in police and public safety psychology, having worked with patrol, detention, corrections, and dispatch agencies, as well as with EMS, full time fire, volunteer fire, as well as wildland fire, and for city, county, state, and federal agencies. She conducts pre-employment evaluations, and fitness evaluations, as well as crisis management, consultation for agencies as well as therapists, annual wellness checks, peer support trainings, therapy, and agency wellness trainings. She finds purpose in bringing professionalism and efficiency to evaluations, and providing a space comfortable for first responders.

    Dr. Smith has an expertise in trauma treatment, and is trained in Brainspotting, Prolonged Exposure (PE), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Dr. Smith utilizes neuroscience to inform treatment, and incorporates psychoeducation, as well as a psychodynamic Object-Relations framework and interpersonal process theory to help her clients create change in their daily experience.

    Dr. Smith works with military veterans, having worked in a VA outpatient PTSD clinic, and conducts compensation and pension evaluations. Veterans can rest assured knowing that she is culturally competent and knowledgeable about the military both on a personal and professional level.

    In addition to her work with first responders and veterans, Dr. Smith has extensive experience working with individuals who have physical, cognitive, and intellectual disabilities, and strives to create an office environment conducive to all needs. Individuals with a developmental disability feel welcomed and at home in this environment, and the evaluations are completed in a prompt and thorough manner, making their experience, as well as their loved ones and case managers feel welcomed and cared for.

    Dr. Smith also completes other psychodiagnostic evaluations including ADHD evaluations, Autism evaluations, diagnostic evaluations, evaluations for the department of vocational rehabilitation, ABI and DD waiver evaluations, and social security psychological evaluations, and strives to make everyone feel at home in a safe and peaceful environment.
